scrollTo does not respect pinned Focus offset for carousel - #14 by Rishabh_Ritweek this is the comment where i had specifed that scrollTo scrolls like anchor mode.. the original issue where i had this comment, when filed, it used to work but then in vega carousel it stopped working altogether.. even if you have a pinnedfocusiffsert and pinned mode, scrollTo just brings children to the top pushed by navigableScrollAreaMargin just like anchored mode..
As a result, we can no longer use pinned mode in our app.
initialStartIndex is unreliable for large lists and you have to remount the whole carousel for each new start index which is highly ineffiicient..
