# How can I prevent my Mi Fire TV Stick 4K Select from going into sleep mode after a while and returning to the menu when I use the Amazon Silk browser?

How can I stop my Fire TV Stick 4K Select from going into sleep mode so often? I’m fed up with the screensaver and the sleep timer; when I use the Amazon Silk browser, it closes after just a few minutes.

I’ve been told that this Fire TV Stick 4K Select model doesn’t support ADB debugging.

Do you know of any other solutions to prevent the Fire TV Stick 4K Select from going into sleep mode?

For the sleep/screensaver issue:

Go to: **Settings → Display & Sounds → Ambient Experience → Ambient Preferences → Advanced Settings**

Set:

- **Ambient Experience Timeout** to maximum ( **8 hours** )

- **Ambient Experience Start** to 15 minutes (optional)

This setup is complete.

And after about 10 minutes, the Fire TV Stick 4K Select goes back into sleep mode. Check the photos.

What else could happen?
