The interactive API documentation for Amazon Music is issuing invalid API-Keys.
For example, navigate to
[dashboard.music.amazon.dev/console/api/get-playlist](https://dashboard.music.amazon.dev/console/api/get-playlist/)
press the button “Get Token” to obtain a new token via OAuth and then press the button “Try Me”. This returns a 401 forbidden HTTP status code with the message:

```json
{
  "status": 401,
  "code": "INVALID_CLIENT_ID",
  "message": "Unable to identify client. Check the x-api-key header.",
  "reference": "a17d744d-02ce-43cc-9b10-d14323344d8a"
}
```

I haven’t found anywhere I could report this. The API doc website itself links to this forum. When can we expect a fix?

Hi Fabian,

I am sorry to let you know that this dashboard is outdated and not intended for public use.
Where exactly did you find the link pointing to that dashboard?

What do you mean “not for public use”?
I simply googled for the Amazon Music API and this is what came up. Until recently it used to work fine and it still is a publicly available resource.
What’s the alternative?

The Amazon Music REST API is in closed beta, and probably will be until end of this year.
At the time, partners with a valid business case can apply for access under [this contact form](https://developer.amazon.com/support/contact-us).

That resource you found should actually not be public. Sorry for the confusion. I’ll see to it, that is is no longer accessible. The instructions posted there are outdated.
