# Unable to verify identity

I tried submitting this via the Contact Us form, but received a Something Went Wrong error upon submission. So I am trying to get support via this forum…

**Detailed Description of Issue** :

I am unable to verify my ID. I tried twice and now when I try to verify again I get the following message:

“Account Identity Verification Failed.  
Your identity verification has failed. You cannot upload apps. Seek help (chatbot) or contact us under Appstore → Appstore Identity Verification for further assistance.”

**Full Legal Name** :

[redacted]

**Country of the ID** :

USA

**Type of Verification Method Selected (Photo upload/Live verification)**:

Photo upload

**Account Type (Appstore/Alexa/Seller etc)**:

Appstore

**Exact Error Message (Please attach a screenshot(s) if available)**:

“Account Identity Verification Failed.  
Your identity verification has failed. You cannot upload apps. Seek help (chatbot) or contact us under Appstore → Appstore Identity Verification for further assistance.”

To get help, please try creating a [Contact Us](https://developer.amazon.com/public/support/contact/contact-us) case by selecting Appstore \> Account Administration \> Identity Verification. If you’re having trouble submitting the form, try clearing your browser cache or using a different browser.

Logging out, clearing all Amazon-relate cache and cookies from my browser, and re-authenticating fixed my issue where I wasn’t able to create support tickets. Thanks for the suggestion.
