For the first time, Amazon Developer is getting together Fire TV, Alexa+, Ring, and Bee in a single global hackathon!
Here is what you can build across the 4 primary tracks:
Fire TV: ship a demo-ready app on Fire OS or Vega OS using React Native, web tech, or Android
Alexa+: build a self-hosted MCP server or an Agent Skill. MCP is the open standard that powers Alexa+ integrations.
Ring: build on Ring’s APIs, SDKs, and simulators. No physical device required
Bee: connect to real data from a Bee device or an Apple Watch running Bee
On top of all that, you can document your experience with a Friction Log telling the team exactly what went wrong (cryptic errors, broken dependencies, outdated docs), and you’ll get up to a 10% bonus on your final judging score. Your raw feedback goes straight to actual engineering teams!
No prior experience with these devices (or physical devices) required. There are step-by-step getting-started guides, live office hours, and asynchronous Discord support to help you.
