2. Steps to Reproduce

  1. Install / launch the app on a real VegaOS device through AppstoreDevTest.
  2. Launch the app.
  3. The purchase restoration process runs during app initialization.
  4. The app attempts to retrieve AmazonUserID.
  5. The request fails and throws a Failed exception.
  6. The app catches and suppresses the purchase restoration error internally.

3. Observed Behavior

After launching the app through AppstoreDevTest, retrieving AmazonUserID through the IAP API fails with a Failed error.

Regarding the AppstoreDevTest configuration on the store side, I confirmed that the certificate is correct and that the tester is properly registered. I did not find any issue with the AppstoreDevTest configuration.

We have also configured the settings related to LiveAppTest.

Specifically, we enabled production mode as described in the following documentation:

I understand that AppstoreDevTest requires the app package to be signed, so I followed the VPT custom signature procedure.

AppstoreDevTest was working until last year, but I believe it has stopped working this year.

Since the same flow used to work before but no longer works now, I suspect this may be caused by an OS/SDK/IAP/APPSTORE-side issue.

4. Expected Behavior

When launching the app through AppstoreDevTest, I expect the IAP API to work correctly.

If there have been any recent changes to the AppstoreDevTest setup procedure, this may be caused by an issue in our app implementation or configuration.

I was able to resolve this issue on my side, so I will close this report.

For reference, the issue was resolved by signing the package using the JSON signature format and placing amazon.config.json on the real device to disable sandbox mode.
