Just Walk Out: Digital Store Design Wizard is live in beta — Five interactive steps (country and Vision-or-RFID, shopper authorization, cart processing, payment processor) work out your Retail Integration model, then point you at the sample store, test plans, and operational readiness review that match it. It’s in beta, and meant to be used alongside your Amazon contact.

- Ring extends its lineup into outdoor and commercial monitoring with a portable, self-powered tower and a new Elite 360 4K camera, widening the surface of Ring devices and footage your integrations can work with.
Introducing Loom for AWS
- An open-source platform for building agents with Strands and deploying them on Bedrock AgentCore Runtime, with role- and attribute-based access, identity propagation, agent discovery, and human-in-the-loop approvals built in.
MCP server for the Registry of Open Data on AWS
- Any MCP-compatible AI assistant can now search, explore, and evaluate the 1,100-plus open datasets in the registry through natural-language questions, returning matching datasets, metadata, and data previews.

Meet Amazon Devices Builder Tools for AI
Anisha Malde, Senior Developer Advocate at Amazon, introduces Amazon Devices Builder Tools (ADBT) for AI, which gives your coding agent the domain-specific context it needs to build high-quality Fire TV apps for Vega OS and Fire OS. It works with MCP-compatible agents including Claude Code, Cursor, and Kiro, so the assistant you already use stops guessing at TV-app patterns and starts following them.
Getting started with Vega OS development
A start-to-finish guide to building for Vega OS, Amazon’s Linux-based Fire TV operating system built on React Native. It walks through installing the Vega Developer Tools, connecting a Fire TV Stick 4K Select or the virtual-device emulator, and shipping a Hello World app either in VS Code with the Vega Studio extension or through an AI-assisted workflow with the MCP server. Aimed at both newcomers to the Appstore and developers new to React Native, it closes with sample apps, docs, and community links to go deeper.

Building an AI game testing agent with Amazon Bedrock

A walkthrough of building an autonomous QA agent that connects to a running Unity game and executes plain-language test cases on its own, using Claude and Amazon Nova on Bedrock for a perceive-reason-act-reflect loop over the AltTester framework and Strands Agents SDK. Unlike brittle scripted bots or RL agents that need constant retraining, it reads test cases, reasons about live game state, and explains why a test passed or failed, at roughly $3 per test across 1,000 nightly runs. Worth a read for any studio shipping frequent builds that wants QA to keep pace.
