Meta: Keep feature requests OPEN until they are definitively solved

Here’s a random of a modest feature request that has been marked “solved” but it definitely hasn’t been:

Topics in the Feature Requests category can be upvoted to gauge interest, only if they are OPEN. So though I’m interested in this feature too, I cannot register that interest.

Just like a bug report, please leave feature requests open so they can be voted on, discussed, and updated, until they are resolved (either by becoming implemented or being definitively rejected).

This will make us happier & more likely to contribute our own requests, too.

Thanks for writing in with this idea of keeping new Feature Requests open till it’s integrated so that we can capture interests of the community on the same post.
I have discussed this internally and am happy to let you know, we have decided to follow your suggestion.
