While developing the app, I am having the following issues when searching using the soft keyboard in Vega.
For Japanese keyboard, when switching to select roman characters, enter any roman character and a row of suggested results for that character will appear. When selecting one of the suggested results, in addition to that character, there will also be a blank space (like a space character) after that letter.
I tried on Fire TV Stick 4K Max (gen 2) and this problem does not occur.
Please tell me how to fix this issue? Thank you !
We were able to reproduce this issue. However I believe it is intended. When we select a word from the suggested result, since it is a complete word it adds the space to make it easy to start typing a new word or select another word from the suggestion list.
Example: In case of “a” also it is treating “a” as a complete word like “a cat”, “a dog”.
However, we understand that this might be confusing as well in many cases.
So, we are treating it as a bug and will fix this soon. We’ll let you know of the fix via an announcement once we are ready.
