Hi everyone! We’re proud to release support for Vega OS with a brand new React Native Brightcove Player SDK.
This SDK is designed from the ground up with full Brightcove platform integration. The initial release comprises support for the video Catalog, Analytics and Insights, Playback Authorization, DRM, VOD, Live (with DVR), remote assets, accessibility features, and a sample app. Our next big update will include support for Brightcove SSAI advertising.
We’ve tested and validated this against Vega release v0.10, and will continue to update with each Vega version, with additional player releases once we’re ready to share them!
The initial releases are exclusive to Brightcove customers. If you would like to begin development with our new player SDK, please reach out to your Customer Success Manager and we’ll get you into our Limited Availability (LA) program. This is a fully supported product, and your feedback will be instrumental in its evolution as another first-class Brightcove Player.
