How to promote my game on the Amazon App Store?

Hi there, I’ve finally uploaded my game to the Amazon App Store, but unfortunately, I’m not seeing any downloads. Could you please advise me on how I can promote my game on the store? I’ve searched online and found various resources, but they seem to focus on optimizing SEO, screenshots, and other technical aspects rather than specific strategies for promoting games through targeting ads.

I’ve also looked through this forum and found similar topics, but unfortunately, they didn’t provide any helpful guidance. While some of the discussions mention targeting Fire TV, my game is specifically designed for Fire tablets.

The two options I see for developers (in the developers console) in the promotion section are 1-Price Discount (but my game is free (I have a subscription model) and 2-Retention Offer (not interested in since I can’t reach any customer in the first place).

I saw the mention of Amazon ads, so I created an account, but I encountered an issue when trying to create a campaign for Amazon ads. I received a message stating that my product is illegible, and I’m not sure why this is happening.

I’ve attached a screenshot for your reference. I’m a senior developer who has created many successful games for companies in the past, but I’m new to the marketing aspect of game development. I’m currently trying to create my own game and I’m struggling to reach customers on the Amazon App store.

In which country your trying to run ads, amazon allows to run only on some countries and that countries data has been mentioned on the portal.

USA. I don’t think i have a problem with the country, the problem is the minimum budget to be able to start a campaign with Amazon Ads.

You can run the Ads on USA, but the budget is upto you

It appears that there’s a minimum budget that’s quite unrealistic for a single developer. I became frustrated because it seems like there’s no way to gauge whether my game will appeal to the audience or if I should make a second version or to simply make another game.

I thought that when I uploaded my game to the Amazon store, I’d receive a number of downloads that would allow me to analyze the data and determine if players enjoyed the game.

In any case, I’ve reduced the price of my game (yes, it seems like we can offer promotional prices for IAP items). However, I’m not sure if this is an effective strategy to attract customers or if it’s only effective during specific seasons.

I’ll also try to support my game on Fire TV, as it seems like there’s an opportunity to display ads for it, even though it’s a bit of a challenge. I’ll have to adjust the way players interact with the Fire TV (i.e., through the remote control).
