I can't connect `vda usb` after I connected by tcpip

Hi all,

I was able to use vda tcpip to connect the device and now i’m trying to connect to usb (because i can’t connect the 2 on the same network). I can’t get the device to connect to usb anymore.

Vda devices lists only the emulator. What should I do?

Hi @Dan_Jipa,

Did you try switching back to USB mode via kepler exec vda usb as mentioned here?

Hi Siva, Yes I tried. I got an error as the device wasn’t listed under vda devices. The only solution that worked for me was to do a factory reset on the device.

Hi @Dan_Jipa,

I apologize for this inconvenience. Factory reset is currently the only workaround when a device is unable to switch back to USB mode via kepler exec vda usb. Our team plans to introduce a settings option for toggling between USB and TCP/IP mode in early 2026. Please monitor future release announcements for this feature.

Regards,
Siva
