(Reopen) Closed captions not showing with DASH DRM Livestreams

I wanted to reply to this Closed captions not showing with DASH DRM Livestreams but it is closed.

I’m still not seeing captions for a DASH DRM Livestream

Updating Shaka to 4.8.5 fixed it. Thanks for reminding me about that!

I’m seeing other captions issues like:

• Rendering something like “&#xU+266A” instead of unicode character “♪”
• It’s not rendering all of the captions / captions are being cut off

But there might be other forum posts and tickets for those issues. I can check and if not I will make a new post.
