Bug Description
Hello Team,
I’m facing an issue with my Vega extension in Vega Studio. Under the devices section, it is not detecting my physical device once the device is completely loaded and ready to use.
However, it does show the device while it is loading.
Active SDK Version: 0.22.6759

Hi @Vishnu
Thank you for reporting this issue and for the detailed investigation.
We are looking into this and will investigate the device detection changes between. In the meantime, could you please provide the following to help us reproduce and debug:
- OS - Are you on macOS (Intel or Apple Silicon) or Ubuntu?
- Physical device model - Fire TV Stick 4K Select?
- Connection method - USB or TCP/IP?
- Error output - What does vega device list return when the issue occurs? (any error message or just empty?)
- VVD behavior - Does vega virtual-device start from the terminal also fail, or is it only Vega Studio’s UI that doesn’t detect it?
Warm regards,
Ivy
Hi Ivy_Mahajan,
Thanks for looking into this.
Please find the requested details below:
-
OS: macOS (Apple Silicon – M1), Version 26.4.1 (25E253)
-
Physical Device Model: Fire TV Stick 4K
- Serial Numbers: G4N33M03351401DV
-
Connection Method: I have tried both USB and TCP/IP (ADB) connections
-
Error Output: When the issue occurs, running vega device list returns an empty output
-
VVD Behavior: Running vega virtual-device start from the terminal also does not work. The issue is consistent in both Vega Studio UI and terminal
Thanks @Vishnu
We are working on this and will update you ASAP.
