📢 Guidelines for Q&A, Bug Reports, and Feature Requests

To ensure a smooth experience and help us address your feedback efficiently, please take a moment to familiarize yourself with the different categories of issues you can log in the Vega Community. :

:one: Questions & Answers (Q&A)

Use the Q&A section to ask general questions about functionality, features, and settings. Make sure to review the Knowledge Base articles, Vega Tech docs and recent similar forum post answers first.

:two: Bug Reports

Encountering technical issues (any kind of error, app crash, install or playback issue, etc) while using or building your app?

Please report issues using the Bug Report template, ensuring all necessary details are included to help us diagnose and resolve problems quickly. The updated template, now with integrated guides, enables more accurate reporting, leading to faster assistance. While it may ask for a lot of details, the goal is to minimize back-and-forth communication. Not every field is mandatory—just fill in the ones relevant to your use case.

  • Tips for reporting a bug:
    • Make sure that your issue:
      • Is ideally tested against the latest SDK version we provide.
      • When logged, it specifies the SDK version
    • Video player issues? Make sure to fill out the video player section .
    • Using an external library? Specify the one you encounter the issue with so we can assess.

:three: Feature Requests

Have ideas that you would want incorporated in the upcoming SDK versions?

Share your suggestions for new features or improvements you would like to see in future updates. Before submitting a new feature request or improvement suggestion, please check the Release Notes to ensure it hasn’t already been included in a recent SDK update. Additionally, search the forum for similar requests, and if you find one, add a +1 to show support.

We appreciate your support in using the appropriate categories, which helps us respond faster, reduce turnaround time, and enhance your experience. Your feedback drives our improvements!

Thank you for being a part of our community. :rocket:
