This will not be seen in community bug reporting for VegaOS, so I’m reporting here.
I am a game dev myself but I noticed this video playback bug on Netflix while testing VegaOS basic operations. I’m sure the OS / driver or Netflix teams would want to know about this if not already known. Letting the device play Pokémon for a couple eps this started to happen.

Hi @zezba9000 ,
To help us investigate this further, could you please share the following when possible:
Relevant logs from Vega Studio - These will help us understand what was happening during the video playback
Sample content files that reproduce the issue - If you have any test videos or content that consistently trigger this codec issue
Any tar files that might assist in our analysis - Including device logs or crash dumps if available
Additional context:
Approximately how long the device was playing content before the issue occurred
Whether this happens consistently after a certain duration or randomly
Device model and VegaOS version you’re testing on
This information will help us better understand the video codec issue you’re experiencing and expedite our investigation.
Thanks for helping us improve the Vega platform.
Warm regards,
Aishwarya
