How to properly issue an invoice in the Amazon Appstore?

I’ve received an app store royalty payment from Amazon this month. The payment was split into 4 different payments for each marketplace. Should I invoice each payment separately? If so, where can I find the information for each Amazon entity?

I’ve found some information in the Knowledge Base here: https://community.amazondeveloper.com/t/how-can-i-get-invoices-for-my-payments-what-is-amazons-address-vat-number-and-tax-id/2285

But I’m not sure if this article is still legit, because I found some inconsistencies in transaction:

  • My payment from Amazon US marketplace was from Amazon com Services LLC, not from Amazon com Sales, Inc. as it said in the article.
  • Payment from Amazon Canada was from Amazon com ca ULC, not from Amazon com ca, Inc.

This is confusing.

In regards to whether to create separate invoice for each payment/marketplace, we would recommend creating invoice for each marketplace that you received payments. That Knowledge Base is most updated version but for Amazon US and Amazon CA, we will check with our internal team and will let you know as soon as we find out.
