The list price for each app includes any Value Added Tax (VAT) or similar taxes. This price is displayed to customers (usually with a note that prices include VAT). VAT or similar taxes are subtracted from the list price for royalty calculation purposes.
For example, if you set the list price for your app as 1.15 Euros in one of the Amazon European marketplaces:
- We display the price as 1.15 Euros to the end users of that Amazon Marketplace.
- This price is inclusive of a 15% VAT. The system displays a note to indicate that all prices include VAT.
- The list price for royalty calculation purposes is 1.00 Euro.
