I’m constantly getting this error during playback when debugging my app, the app doesn’t crash but Metro keeps spamming logs with this. We’ve implemented the Headless JS Playback in combination with Shaka Player. I did not find any documentation on this error. Can someone enlighten us?

I did some testing with our headless sample app and am able to reproduce the error that you are referring to through the sample app for ERROR Required Lookup Map not populated! . I raised a ticket internally to get this addressed. That said, I don’t think that is likely the root cause of you not being able to playback video.

In order to troubleshoot your issue of not being able to playback video further, we need some additional information from you. Can you share device logs and/or a VPKG that we could use to help diagnose the issue? For instructions on how to capture the logs, please see: https://developer.amazon.com/docs/kepler-tv/ks-logs.html. Beyond that, it would be helpful to know if the app played back the same video successfully before implementing headless or if the video content is net new (in order to help separate if it’s a content playback issue vs a headless implementation issue).

I wasn’t clear in my previous post but playback does work fine with the error. I just reported because it keeps spamming the logs and makes it difficult for me to troubleshoot the other issues I’m facing.
