While tablet and phone apps just need tablet assets, Fire TV apps need both tablet assets and Fire TV assets.
This is because tablet assets are used for the website app listing, where your app will appear, even if it’s not available for phones or tablets.
Therefore your Fire TV app will require the following assets:
- 114 x 114px PNG (transparent) icon
- 512 x 512px PNG (transparent) icon
- 1280 x 720px PNG (no transparency) icon
- Between three and ten 1920 x 1080px (landscape) JPG or 24-bit PNG (no transparency) screenshots
Note that the Fire TV screenshots can be reused for your tablet assets.
Optionally, you can also provide:
- 1920 x 1080px (landscape) JPG or 24-bit PNG (no transparency) background image
- 720px high x 1080px wide (4:3 or 16:9) video
The background image will appear on Fire TV when users scroll across your app from a browse page.
The video will appear on the website and can provide a nice demonstration of your Fire TV app and content.
