Company Entity Country Change – Account Update vs App Transfer

Hi Amazon Developer Support,

We have recently moved our company entity to a different country, and we would like to understand the correct process to reflect this change in our Amazon Developer account.

Could you please confirm:
• Whether it is possible to update the company country/entity details on the existing Amazon Developer account, or
• If a new Amazon Developer account must be created in the new country and the app transferred to that account

If an app transfer is required, please let us know:
• The recommended process
• Any documentation needed
• Whether there is any impact on app listings, reviews, rankings, or existing users

We want to ensure this is handled correctly and in line with Amazon’s policies.

Thanks for posting. While most of your company’s contact information can be updated via the Settings menu in your developer account, changing your company’s profile name requires assistance from the developer support team.

Please provide the desired new company profile name through the Contact Us form. Once we receive this information, we’ll review it and proceed with the update, provided it complies with our policies.
