Every single year (2022, 2023, 2024) exactly at September my downloads/sales are ruined by 50% at least. Don’t tell me that’s normal. It’s extremely strange. The numbers plummet exactly at September 1st, 2022/2023/2024 and do not recover.

Many of my apps were in the top charts of Amazon Appstore constantly and stable until August 31st, 2022/2023/2024 and at the next morning (September 1st) they were drowned by someone at the backside in Amazon Appstore.

I have more than 40 apps (free and paid) published to Amazon Appstore and all of them are affected. The drop is significant, more than 50%, and exactly since September 2022/2023/2024. How is it possible such huge plummet to happen in one day?

I investigated the issue at my side and with several friends of mine who are publishers of Android apps on Amazon Appstore and nothing similar happened to them.

Could you please let us know which app, device, and Amazon site you noticed where your apps are no longer appearing in the search results? I’ve searched a few of your titles and was able to see them listed as the top search result when using the full app name in the Amazon.com Apps & Games category. Even with a broader search using keywords such as ‘Minecraft PE,’ I found that 4 of your apps appear among the top 10 results.

It’s not about the search, especially with the exact name of the apps or broader keywords. It’s about the presence of my apps in top charts of New Releases and Best Sellers in their categories. They (my apps) match all criteria but somehow they are not visible.
