How can I have the description show up in the IAP pop up window as shown in the Fire TV Builder template. Without any description, the user has no idea what the IAP is for. This is a major flaw and we’ve been struggling with this for almost year now with no solution with Amazon Support.

Hi @Randy_Bandit, it seems the default behaviour on TV is not showing the description for IAP, this happens on Tablet and smartphone only. An alternative is you could show the description before launching the purchase in your app UI
Thank you for your reply. According to the FireTV Template, my developer said there is no place where we can add the description. Something is wrong with Amazon. Can you fix this? The instructions you have listed do not work.
Hi @Randy_Bandit , I’ll report the feature request to the product team. The description at the moment is only available on tablet and smartphone for implementation choices. In the meanwhile you can refactor your app UI to show the description before the user is launching a purchase.
Again, thank you for your quick response. I feel this is necessary for Fire TV viewers otherwise they have no knowledge of what the IAP is for. How do we refactor the app UI to show the description before the user launches. We are using the Fire TV App template and I don’t see where this can be done. I also asked our developer and he said it is not possible.
