Need guidance on how to proceed after lack of specificity from the review team after a rejection

What do you do if the review team keeps rejecting your app and telling you to fix the issues that they are listing but your app doesn’t do any of the things they list as the reason for the rejection?

I asked for a specific function or screenshot of any of the violations and they just won’t provide any. I would happily fix this if they would tell me where it is… Also, they keep linking me to sections of the policy that don’t have anything to do with what my app does. So far every single thing they have claimed as the reason for rejecting my app doesn’t actually exist in my app. It’s all something that they have just concocted out of thin air or something… I really don’t know what to do and I am on the verge of tearing my eyes out so I figured I’d try here. Anyone got any tips for getting them to actually be specific with what they’re talking about? And if they won’t be specific or provide any screenshots or proof of any of the alleged violations then to me that sounds like they don’t have any proof because there is nothing like that in my app. I don’t know if I have any recourse at all except for throwing a fuss on social media or something.

For what it’s worth, I’ve gone well beyond simply reading the policy myself. I’ve had multiple independent reviews performed using the policy as the standard, including code reviews of the app itself, and every review reached the same conclusion. I’ve also made numerous changes in response to the feedback I’ve received. That’s part of why I’m so confused by the repeated rejections and why I’m trying to understand what I’m missing. I’m actively trying to do the impossible thing that they are asking me to do. Remove things that my app does not have and remove functionality that my app does not do.

Sigh… am I just S.O.L? This is quite discouraging…

Also, are media players in Amazon’s app store really not allowed to let users load external content into them? Because that’s one of the things they’re claiming… (that’s kind the MAIN thing media players are for") — so yeah, i am very confused here. i was hoping that maybe one of the community members had been through something similar and could offer some suggestions on how to proceed because right now I’m essentially stuck in the mud.

((I would REALLY appreciate it if someone more senior level at Amazon was willing to talk to me about this in a private message or by email or over the phone even… instead of saying something to me and then never responding again or even acknowledging anything that I say from that point forward.))
