Adding touch support for apps on Echo Show 15 & Echo Show 21

How do you add touch support to apps that run on the Echo Show 15 & Echo Show 21? They work fine with D-Pad but no matter what configuration I try, touch does not function.

I know that YouTube works with touch support, so there must be a way…

Nothing works. It’s a touch-screen device, how do we get it so that our apps can make use of the touch screen as well as the d-pad remote?
