I received an error that the phone number is in use, what do I do?

You can have one phone number associated with multiple accounts. To accomplish this, add the phone number through the Amazon retail website, following these steps:

  1. Sign in to the Amazon Developer Console.
  2. Go to Settings > My Account.
  3. Click Edit in the upper right corner of the page.
  4. In the phone number section, click Add.
  5. Enter your current or updated phone number and verify your credentials by entering the verification code sent through text.
