I’m dealing with an urgent Amazon Appstore submission issue and would appreciate any guidance from developers who have experienced something similar.
A metadata-only change to the current live version of my app entered review unintentionally. The actual binary update is complete and sitting under Upcoming Version — Ready to Submit, but Amazon will not let me submit it while the current version remains under review.
The Developer Console does not show any Cancel Review option, and standard support tickets have not produced a timely response. This is especially urgent because we have a fixed promotional launch date approaching.
Has anyone successfully:
- canceled an unintended metadata review,
- had Amazon manually clear a stuck review,
- reached Appstore Submission Operations directly, or
- found a reliable escalation path beyond normal support tickets?
Any practical advice or contact route would be greatly appreciated.
