We’re trying to develop an app for our non-profit television station to share our content on the Amazon Appstore. For some reason, our identity information keeps getting rejected, and I cannot see the information I submitted ( due to Amazon security policy apparently) to ensure that all the information matches. I have escalated this issue several times via the customer Service portal, to no avail, and now it seems Amazon has stopped responding to this issue.
Is there anyone actually reviewing that portal? Is there even a customer service rep who can address this concern? If not, I will have to cancel my account and start from scratch. What is the best way to go about solving this issue? Thanks!
Hello,
Thanks for posting. While we are unable to see the exact reason your identity verification failed, please ensure that you uploaded a photo of a government-issued ID that matches the full legal name listed on your company profile page(in your case, La*** E. Si***).
If you need to update the full legal name on your developer account to match your legal name for identity verification, please follow these steps:
- Sign in to the Amazon Developer Console dashboard using administrator credentials.
- From the top navigation bar, select Settings, then choose Company Profile.
- Click Edit and update the relevant name fields.
- Click Save to apply the changes.
