I need help with my account - have made support cases about it - I made a post here asking for help because no one has responded to my support cases in almost 2 months now - Seems my post here was deleted as well and I do not know why - I just need help, no one is helping me at all and as far as I can tell, I cannot do anything about it. I am getting no response to anything whatsoever. Please help.
I have been waiting a week for a critical issue of losing access to my app completely. It does not show up in my console using the only login I have. I need to upgrade the app badly, but cannot do so without it listing in my console. I posted my case Case ID : 21859412971 a week ago without any response. It will go to a month like yours I am sure unless someone catches it here.
What escalation possibilities are there?
I don’t know - but I hope more people see this so it’s more obvious if someone deletes it again. - This is ridiculous and there’s no recourse. I just need help from someone - I’m willing to do whatever I need to in order to get this done but there’s no communication at all. Still - at the time of this response - no correspondence. The last (AI or canned) response I got was 7/14/26 - Almost 2 months ago.
Does Amazon no longer support their Fire tablet apps even though they just had a big jump in tablet sales? I have seen many complaints about support not responding for many days to months. Not responding after 48 hours is effectively no support at all based on industry standards. I have reached out to AWS and am going to escalate to the corporate emails if I do not get a response by tomorrow.
I have no idea and I’d write an email to anyone right now - I just don’t know who to contact. This is absolutely ridiculous.
Are you able to access your app in your dev console? I cannot even access my app so I cannot upgrade it.
No - my entire dev account was suspended and I haven’t been told why - The only case responses I got were talking about proving that I own IP - but I don’t know what IP we’re even talking about - I made the application - I don’t know how to prove that I made it and the responses are the same copy/paste response every time even though I’m asking for clarification. I’ve even said that I’d do whatever I need to do but I don’t know what the issue is. Hell, I’ll even delete the application in question - I have two other ones that I really need to see go live as they’re part of a much larger projects.
Your case is another example of the total lack of attention by whatever constitutes a technical support team for the Amazon Appstore. I am sorry to hear about your difficult situation. Has no one contacted you via the forum? I thought the support team would check in with forum posts periodically. I am doing everything I can think of without success. I am shocked by this lack of response after a week and your situation.
I’m sorry you’re dealing with this — two months of silence on open cases is genuinely rough, especially when you’re just trying to get a straight answer. A few things that have sometimes helped other developers in similar spots:
- Try replying directly on each existing case (using the case IDs you posted) rather than opening new ones — that keeps you in the same queue instead of resetting to the back of the line.
- If you have a Partner Manager or Alexa/Fire TV developer contact assigned (sometimes given to active developers), reach out to them directly rather than general support, since they can sometimes escalate internally.
- Some developers have had luck posting in the official Amazon Developer Forums (this one) tagged appropriately, or reaching out via Amazon’s developer Twitter/X account, since public visibility occasionally speeds up internal escalation.
- If your account was closed/suspended, double check if there’s a formal appeals process listed in your original suspension notice email — that’s sometimes a separate, faster track than general support tickets.
As for your earlier post being removed — that’s not something any of us in the community control, unfortunately; it’s likely a moderation action on Amazon’s end, not anything the community did. I know that’s an extra frustration on top of everything else.
Hang in there — you’re clearly not getting the support you deserve here, and I hope one of these gets you an actual human response soon.
