The unit sold number is not being updated, but the date is updated

We noticed an issue starting from 25/05. The unit sold numbers in My Reporting > Sold Units are not being updated. However, the date continues to update every 6 hours.

Could you please confirm whether this is an issue on your side? Otherwise, something abnormal may be happening with our account, and we would appreciate immediate support regarding this matter.

We checked and can confirm that the sales units data has been updated through May 27. Please check again and let us know if the issue persists.

However, over the past year, we’ve noticed a significant decline in daily installs and sales for our paid apps. We have tried everything we can think of — updating existing apps, releasing new ones, running promotional discounts, and improving overall quality — but despite these efforts, installs and sales continue to decline month after month.

At this point, many of us strongly believe that the Amazon Appstore algorithm has changed in a way that negatively impacts paid apps specifically. Paid apps no longer seem to be properly recommended, promoted, or featured on the store, which drastically reduces visibility and ultimately leads to lower sales.

This is especially unfortunate for developers like us whose apps and games are completely ad-free. Our only monetization model is the upfront purchase price, so changes affecting the discoverability of paid apps have had a severe impact on our monthly revenue.

We sincerely hope this issue can be reviewed and addressed soon, because at the current rate, many independent developers risk losing a major part of their business and livelihood.
