Assistance Required for Account Access Due to Misplaced Linked Phone Number

I created an Amazon Developer account some time ago and have successfully published games using it. However, the phone number linked to my account has been misplaced and I no longer have access to it.

Now, whenever I try to log in, the OTP is sent to that misplaced phone number. I tried the alternative verification method by submitting my government-issued ID card along with a selfie, but after submission, I receive a message instructing me to contact the support team.

Unfortunately, I am unable to open a support case because I cannot log in to my account without access to the linked phone number.

Could you please guide me on how to regain access to my account in this situation? Your assistance will be highly appreciated.

  2. Choose “Check login info and security”

  3. Select “Manage 2-Step Verification”

  4. Click “I need more help”

  5. Choose “Chat with us” or “Request a phone call”
