I would like to confirm whether it is acceptable to keep Two-Step Verification disabled for our Amazon Developer account because we have some troubles (SMS messages are not being received on our current phone number).
Please note the following:

All payments have been successfully received in the past.

Tax forms have been completed and approved.

Payment information will not be updated or changed moving forward.
Given this context, is it mandatory to enable Two-Step Verification, or can it remain disabled without affecting future payments or account access?
